Alison Kyler Nazarowski has been practicing law in Atlanta since 1997. Her practice deals exclusively with family law issues, which include divorce, legitimation, custody, child support and visitation. Ms. Nazarowski has handled cases in all of the Metro Atlanta courts and many of the outlying counties. In matters involving minor children, the well-being of the child or children is Ms. Nazarowski’s primary focus. Since the inception of the firm, Ms. Nazarowski has also worked as a Guardian ad litem, a court-appointed position focusing primarily on resolution of custody and visitation issues in the best interest of the child.

Ms. Nazarowski began her legal career as an associate with a small Buckhead firm in 1997. Initially, she focused on transportation legal issues and provided representation to many of the bus, trucking and courier companies located in the State of Georgia. She also became involved with family law issues during this time period and increased her work in the domestic relations field over the next several years.

In early 2002, Ms. Nazarowski decided that she could best serve her clients and also pursue her professional goals by commencing a solo practice and concentrating in the area of family law. On April 1, 2002, Alison K. Nazarowski, P.C. d/b/a Law Offices of Alison Kyler Nazarowski was established.

In December 2005, Ms. Nazarowski was honored to be selected as a part-time Magistrate Judge to serve on the Family Division of the Superior Court of Fulton County. Due to judicial position, Ms. Nazarowski is no longer able to represent litigation clients in any of the Fulton County courts. However, she continues her private practice in all other Metro Atlanta counties.

In September 2006, Ms. Nazarowski was certified in the area of Collaborative Law, a new method of divorce practice based on mutual respect in a non-litigious setting. This practice complements the “best interest of the child” approach that she has always applied, and she looks forward to handling more cases in the collaborative method. Because collaborative practice is a non-litigation avenue, Ms. Nazarowski is able to represent clients in all counties, including Fulton.

Ms. Nazarowski is admitted to the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
